Registration is required. Please fill out a Registration Form and turn it into the b-kids area. New sessions start every other month ( Feb/Mar; Apr/May etc..) Children may start classes mid-session. If a child is absent from class more than 2 times in a 2-month session and hasn't communicated with the b-kids staff, they will be taken off the class roster and the parents will need to re-register that child. Thank you.
b-Baby Steps: (ages walking-35 months) This 30-minute Parent/Child participation class is a great opportunity for your child to socially interact with
other children, all while exploring gymnastics on age appropriate equipment. Children will develop hand-eye coordination, motor skills, strengthand confidence.
b-Toddler Tumble & Tumble One: This 30 & 45-minute class usually begins with an aerobic musical warm-up designed to teach the
children rhythm, balance, coordination, and basic gymnastics terminology. The class uses a tumbling circuit designed to teach basic tumbling skills
like front and back rolls, handstands, and cartwheels. A trampoline is used to help with body awareness, leg strengthening, and balance. Children
are also introduced to the bars and balance beam using an apparatus circuit.Independent of parent.
b-Creative Movement: (ages 2.5-3 and 3-5) This 30-minute class is designed for your youngest dancers, introducing them to rhythm and body
awareness through musical games, songs and dances. Our goal is to have FUN while developing large motor skills, listening skills, body awareness, strength, flexibility and imagination. This class is independent of parent/guardian.
b-Parent and Me: (ages: walking-35 months and ages 3-5 ) Children discover the excitement of dance and share special bonds with their parent/guardian
for extra security. This 30-minute class gives children the opportunity to participate in basic creative movement, stretching, song and dance.
b-Kids Fitness: (ages 3-5, 6-10, 11-15) Children enjoy an action packed Circuit Training class which includes: a 30-minute circuit including many
stations that address cardio fitness, skills development, balance, strength, coordination and agility. Finish with a group cool down and stretching.
Kids are more likely to stay focused with circuit training because they are constantly on the move from one activity to another.
b-Yoga: (ages 3-5 ,6-11 and 12-16) It's never too late to introduce your child to the benefits of yoga. This class will enhance each child's physical
and mental well being through practicing yoga in a fun-filled, engaging and imaginative way. The use of animated poses and basic stretching exercises
promote strength, flexibility, coordination and body awareness. Breathing and visualization techniques teach kids how to focus, relax and develop
self control. Please wear comfortable, non-restrictive clothing. (ages 3-11 /30 min: ages 12-16/45-min. )
b-tween Cycling: (ages 13-16) Cycling is an aerobic exercise for all levels of skill and fitness that kids will love. This 30-minute class takes place
on a specially designed stationary bicycle in the adult cycling studio. As you pedal, motivating music plays while the instructor leads you on a bike
ride that will challenge you both physically and mentally. Cycling shoes are not required but real tennis shoes are.
b-Zumba: (ages 8-15) Zumba is the perfect combination of fitness & fun! This class introduces Latin, Hip Hop & International rhythms to your child
during a 30-minute class. Our classes combine high energy, motivating music with easy to follow kid friendly moves.
b-tween Hip Hop: (ages 10-16) This high-energy dance-fitness program incorporates the latest of jazz, funk and hip-hop styles of today and yesterday.
Hip Hop is a popular urban youth culture style of dance that provides a funkier edge to the basic styles of dance. These programs are suggested
for dancers who like to move quickly, exercise and have FUN! This class is 45-minutes.
b-Kids Beat: (ages 6-12) This class combines the benefits of a traditional fitness program with the fun of music and rhythm. Join us in this unique
activity that will guide children through a program of drumming, movement and creative exploration. Kids Beats combines a healthy balance physically,
mentally, emotionally and socially while providing an element of fun and creative expression. Scheduled the second Friday of each month.
b-Pre-Ballet: (ages 3-4) This 30-minute pre-ballet class teaches elementary ballet concepts and techniques. Pre-Ballet will incorporate musicality,
vocabulary, and creativity. Simple ballet concepts will be taught and built up on through the year. Children must have a good attention span and
be independent of parent/guardian.
b-Ballet & Tap: (ages 5-7) The dancers will study the beginning steps and concepts of ballet and tap in a 45-minute class. The class will be divided
into segments of each dance. No experience required. Ballet flats and tap shoes are required.
b-Ballet, Tap, Jazz: Intermediate to Advanced Levels: (ages 7-12) This 45-minute class will study ballet, tap and jazz technique in a more structured
dance environment for the more serious student. Emphasis in this class is on strengthening body placement, coordinating body movements, and
improving basic steps. Dress code and attendance are enforced to promote the best training. Placement is made at the discretion of the program
instructor and is based on your child's ability and level. All decisions are made by professionals and are with your child's best interest in mind.
b-Jazz I: This 45-minute class teaches proper stretching technique, basic turns, leaps, isolations, and footwork. This class will cover
basic across the floor movements and it will be doing progressions as the class is ready. This class will most importantly teach proper dance
technique in all areas of jazz. Students may use either jazz or ballet shoes.
b-Jazz II: This 45-minute class will teach proper dance technique in all areas of jazz and is a step up and more challenging than Jazz
I. This class will cover floor, flexibility, musicality, and presentation. This class works on turns, leaps, and movement.
b-Tae Kwon Do: (ages 4-5, 6-8, 9-12, teens) These 30 to 45 minute classes (depending on age) will build self esteem and leadership skills through
self defense instruction. Your child will build a strong body as well as a strong mind by teaching self defense techniques that will also develop self
awareness for all situations. If a student is coming from another Martial Arts studio, placement is made at the discretion of the program instructor
and is based on your child's ability and level. All decisions are made by professionals and are with your child's best interest in mind.
Dress code and attendance are enforced to promote the best training. At the beginning of each session, we can order pre-paid uniforms for new students.
